Last Tuesday, Marten and Lauren successfully defended their doctoral theses. We congratulate them on this great achievement and wish them continued success in their future careers.

Their accomplishments mark an important milestone for GRK2662, as the entire first cohort, which began in 2022, has now successfully completed the PhD program. This achievement reflects the dedication, excellence, and collaborative spirit that define our international research training group.

Both, Marten and Lauren, had intense and successful collaborations with Canadian partner groups, resulting in an impressive publication record and significant contributions to the joint research activities within the CITF–IRTG framework.

We extend our sincere thanks to all supervisors, mentors, and colleagues who have supported our doctoral researchers throughout their journey.
